Our CEO and Founder’s Mission to Help Prevent Overdose in Indian Country

Originally published by Native News Online, April 14th 2025

Rx Destroyer’s CEO and Founder Milt Dallas was born and raised on the Oneida Nation Reservation in Wisconsin, surrounded by people that taught him to think of the future, our children and their children who are going to inhabit it. This is the foundation of the 7th Generation principle, a guiding truth of Native culture. With this north-star principle in mind, Milt is driven to eliminate the opioid crisis. Initiating a change for the next generation is a vital step in tackling the opioid crisis.

Native communities are suffering at the hands of the substance abuse crisis. Nearly one in five young Native adults has a substance use disorder. These are not just statistics, they represent a grim reality for the next generation. Rx Destroyer exists to support in ending this crisis, ensuring that the children of our nations grow to be the leaders they were destined to be and protecting the culture and traditions we hold dear.

“My tribe was fortunate to have visionary leaders who, in the ‘70s and ‘80s, turned bingo halls and early casino operations into long-term investments. They chose to put that money into infrastructure—and into us, the youth. That’s how many of our college educations were made possible,” said Milt Dallas. Just as the Oneida leaders sought to invest hope into their tribe through knowledge, Milt is driven to return the favor.

Milt went out into the world on a journey to innovate and invest in the infrastructure of the community.

These principles guided Milt to innovation with Rx Destroyer. A family business built on the foundation of natives helping natives, aiding the generations to come. Rx Destroyer drug deactivation is built for natives, by natives—protecting the environment and safeguarding communities. Rx Destroyer is a safe drug disposal product that renders medication inactive through chemical digestion. This product protects communities and the environment through the prevention of drug diversion and misuse.

This story is about legacy, cultural responsibility and turning community rooted values into tangible impact. Impact that will hopefully be seen by the next seven generations across Indian country.
