What documentation must be immediately available during my EMS audit for disposal?

Under the new DEA PPAEMA rule, you must produce records quickly during an inspection. Here are some of the disposal related documents that should be readily available:

Waste and Disposal Records

• DEA Form 41 (when applicable)
• DEA Form 222
• Reverse distributor records
• Expired medication destruction records
• Witnessed waste documentation
• Partial-use records
