Rx Destroyer™ Ready-to-Use formulas are easy-to-use and safe for industrial, commercial or home. Rx Destroyer™ All-Purpose and Rx Destroyer™ Liquid Meds Only formulas are product specific. Please select appropriate “How to Use” option from menu for handling and disposal directions.

IMPORTANT

Rx Destroyer™ drug disposal products are utilized in-home and in a large spectrum of businesses. Rx Destroyer™ recognizes disposal processes and regulations vary from state-to-state and business-to-business. In fact, certain businesses standardize on incineration as a final means of destruction. Although it may be safe to dispose in common trash for some users, always be aware of facility, local, state, or tribal requirements which may prohibit discarding Rx Destroyer™ to common trash.

  1. DO NOT add effervescent or antacid or gassing medications.
  2. If bottle swells, effervescent or gassing additives have been inadvertently introduced, do not open container. Consult supervisor to dispose of container in a controlled and safe manner.
  3. Prior to first use of Rx Destroyer™ products, review internal processes and or consult supervisor
ALL-PURPOSE

Rx Destroyer™ ALL-PURPOSE Formula Directions

  1. Load medications into the bottle*
  2. Tightly replace cap
  3. Gently shake to mix solution over medications
  4. Store in a safe and secure location…use until full
  5. Bottle is full when contents are within 2 inches from cap – DO NOT OVERFILL
  6. Discard bottle and its contents into common trash or according to business process and regulations.
  7. Always follow institutional policies, local, state, tribal and federal disposal regulations for compliance.

*Outer shell of capsules and patch material will NOT dissolve.

CAPACITY BY PRODUCT

  • 5 Gallon: holds approximately 15,000 pills/patches or 500 additional oz. of liquid
  • 2.5 Gallon: holds approximately 7,500 pills/patches or 160oz. of liquid
  • 1 Gallon: holds approximately 3000 pills/patches or 64oz of liquid
  • 64oz: holds approximately 1500 pills/patches or 32oz of liquid
  • 16oz: holds approximately 300 pills/patches or 8oz of liquid
  • 4oz: holds approximately 50 pills

USES

  • All non-hazardous medications (DEA-controlled & Non-controlled). Check Federal & State Guidelines on how to determine if medications are hazardous waste.
  • In cases where a business has determined they can safely commingle hazardous and non-hazardous in Rx Destroyer™, Generator shall follow worse case medication disposal scenario process to ensure safe and proper disposal of bottle contents.
  • Pills, Capsules, Tablets, Liquids, Lozenges, Transdermal Patches, Fentanyl Lollipops, Suppositories.
  • Do not add gassing items such as effervescent, antacid medications, syringes (hardware) or drugs known to react with one another such as sodium bicarbonate and aspirin. Combinations of medications added to Rx Destroyer™ are limitless.  Always consult your Pharmacist or staff supervisor with questions regarding combinations which may produce gasses prior to use.

LIQUIDS

Rx Destroyer™ Liquid Meds Formula Directions

  1. Load medications into the bottle
  2. Tightly replace cap
  3. Gently shake to mix solution with medications
  4. Store in a safe and secure location…use until full
  5. Bottle is full when contents are within 2 inches from cap – DO NOT OVERFILL
  6. Prior to discarding, add Pouch of Rx Destroyer™ Hardener into bottle
  7. Tightly secure cap, shake bottle until contents thicken
  8. Discard bottle and its contents into common trash or according to business process and regulations.
  9. Always follow institutional policies, state, local, tribal and federal disposal regulations for compliance.

CAPACITY BY PRODUCT

  • 2.5 Gallon: bottle holds approximately 250oz of liquid
  • 1 Gallon: bottle holds approximately 100oz of liquid
  • 64oz: bottle holds approximately 50oz of liquid

    • Do not add gassing items such as effervescent, antacid medications, syringes (hardware) or drugs known to react with one another such as sodium bicarbonate and aspirin. Combinations of medications added to Rx Destroyer™ are limitless.  Always consult your Pharmacist or staff supervisor with questions regarding combinations which may produce gasses prior to use.
